State-of-the-art dental technology helps us provide you with prompt service, precise diagnoses and procedures, and enhanced comfort. In that case, what’s not to like? While we’d love for you to spend several hours with us, we realize most dental patients have busy lives. To accommodate your schedule, we use contemporary technology and the latest techniques.
Explore some of our exciting tools here:
Intra-Oral cameras allow patients to get a look into their mouths via a screen so that they can see the issues the dentist is describing to them and help make sense of the recommendations for treatment. Learn more about Intra Oral Cameras here
The Waterlase soft and hard tissue laser uses the energy from a laser and a stream of water, a process called HydroPhotonics, to perform dental procedures, eliminating the need for dental drilling and sometimes even anesthesia. Learn more about Waterlase here.
We now use VITA Easyshade, a computerized enamel matching system that allows Dr. Radz to precisely match the color of your dental crowns, veneers, or other lab-fabricated restorations to your natural teeth.
With this exciting technology, shade differences in various parts of a tooth can be recorded with a digital spectrometer and LED light. This precise matching system helps us communicate effectively with our laboratory ceramists. Easyshade reduces the potential for errors in matching, which ensures a more natural looking, esthetic result for you! Learn more about our shade matching here.
Discus NV Diode Laser
The diode laser allows us to perform minor gum surgeries to either treat disease or to make esthetic improvements in your smile.
The diode laser is noted for its surgical precision as well as having patients experiencing very minimal post-operative discomfort. It’s a wonderful tool that allows us to provide you even more ideal care.
The Biolase dental laser is probably the most exciting device in dentistry today. For many years, companies have been working on a dental laser to replace the dental drill. Dr. Radz has evaluated some of these in the past, and he was not impressed. About five years ago, Biolase developed a “water laser” for dental applications. The laser uses a combination of laser energy and water spray to remove decay and prepare teeth for fillings. No more whine and vibration of the drill. But that’s not the best part. For most patients, there’s no need for anesthesia. That’s right. No shot, no drill. Now you see why we’re excited! Learn more about Biolase here
We are making our patients’ lives a little easier! If you need a lab-made restoration or prosthetic, expect a new, comfortable impression experience. The iTero handheld wand takes a digital, 3D image of your prepared teeth in about three to five minutes, stopping as needed. You don’t have to endure a tray full of putty hardening in your mouth. The digital image is sent to our lab where a computer creates an accurate replica of your mouth. iTero has transformed the first appointment for restorations and prosthetics, and we’re happy to bring our patients this new, exciting technology. Wondering what your smile will look like after your procedure? We can show you. After we take a picture of your current smile, we will do several calculations on a computer concerning the balance and symmetry of your face. Then we’ll let the computer do it’s magic, and in minutes, Dr. Radz will have an excellent facsimile of what your new smile will look like. We’ll let you take the picture home to discuss with family and friends. This will help you make truly informed decisions about your cosmetic dental treatment plan.
